Athens
You are Athenian!
Rejoyce, you have been educated in the arts and the sciences. You have been trained to be productive and capable in times of peace and war. You are an achiever. Until you were old enough to go to a proper school at age 6-7yrs, you were taught at home by your mother, or by a male slave.
When you were old enough to attend a day school close by, you were taught the magnificent instrument, the lyre, and you memorised the words of Homeric poetry. You also learned drama, public speaking, reading, writing, math and maybe the flute. You attended higher school to learn more of math, science and government. When you turned18yrs, you attended military school for 2 more years.
Be proud to be Athenian. You are famed for your arts, literature, poetry, drama, theatre, buildings, government and intellectual superiority. You have no doubt that your polis (city state) is clearly the shining star of all of Greece.
Goals and morals at the Olympics
You know your archrival, those brutes the Spartans, who will do anything to win, even lie and cheat, but you are Athenian. You would never stoop to such behaviours. Cooperate with your fellow team mates to defeat those brutish Spartans, and do your personal best! You are Athenian, the clever, creative, courteous, representatives of all that is fine and noble, the polis of Athens. Good luck in the games.

Sparta
You are Spartan!
Be proud, you have endured unbelievable pain to become who you are today, a full spartan citizen of Greece. You ready to take on anything. You were taken away from your parents at age 7yrs. You lived a harsh life of pain and brutality in your barracks. You were beaten by older children to make you tough and strong. You were often whipped in front of large masses of other Spartans, including your parents, but you never cried out in pain.
You were given very little food but were encouraged to steal, as long as you did not get caught. If you were caught, you were beaten. To avoid severe pain, you were taught to be cunning, to lie, to cheat, to steal and how to get away with it.
Some of your friends, or you, would become part of a secret police, and enjoy spying on slaves. If you find a slave displaying signs of leadership, you would have the authority to kill them on sight. You are fierce, capable, and proud of your strength. You know you are superior, and are overjoyed to be Spartan

Goals and morals at the Olympics
Win at all costs.
Lie, cheat, do whatever it takes to win. If you cannot win, make sure that you beat those silly Athenians. You are the proud and fierce Spartans! Secretly plot with other states to sabotage any chance of Athenian victory. Cheer only for your fellow Spartans at each event. Good luck in the games

Corinth
You are a Corinthian
As a coastal city state, you have a glorious history as a cultural and trade centre. Although your schools are not as fine, perhaps, as those of Athens, you have been finely educated in the arts and the sciences. As a child, you were taught by a male slave or your mother.
From age 7-14yrs, you attended a day school near your home, where you studied the necessary aspects of Greek life, as well as the flute. You attended a military school for at least a further two years before becoming a full citizen of Corinth.
Your polis is famous for its bronze statues, pottery, and vase painters. You are creative with the problems you face, and you solve them with skill. When you were faced with the problem of foreign money pouring into your coastal city state, you invented your own coinage, forcing traders to convert their money at your banks, to purchase any Corinthian produce. This solved the problem of unemployment, you made a huge public works programme.

Goals and Morals at the Olympics
Defeat Athens and Sparta
If you yourself cannot win, help Argos and Megara defeat those vain Athenians, and those animals the
Spartans. Do whatever it takes, but be honest about it. You cheer the winner of every event, and you greet your fellow Corinthians with warmth and good Sportsmanship whenever you happen to see them. You are proud of your abilities and your superior state good luck in the Games

Argos
You are Argive
You have been educated in the arts and the sciences, and trained to be capable in times of peace and war. You have a lot to be proud of.
Although your close neighbour, Cornith, is on the coast line, your polis is located on a plain, where the weather tends to be hot and dry in the summer, and cold and wet in the winter. Your soil is not very fertile, and you must fight the elements to survive and grow your food.
Despite your hardship, the magnificent stone statues of athletes rippling with muscles, are the envy of Greeks everywhere. You are famous for your wonderful musicians and poets. Drama is taken to a whole new level in your state, and plays are performed in open air theatres, drawing crowds of thousands or more.
Unfortunately you have a problem. In the battle of Thermopylae against the Persians, Athens and Sparta asked you for supplies and troops. You refused, leaving your being held in disgrace by the other city states.

Goals and Morals at the Olympics
Your goal is to reverse the negative reputation you currently hold in the greek world.
You will work hard to convince other states that your athletes, scholars, soldiers, oraters, poets, architects, dancers and artist are just as fine if not finer than the city states. You cheer Argive victories, and win as many events as you can (your goal is to make sure Athens and Sparta do not win at all). Your backup plan is to throw support at Cornith or Megara if you cannot win yourself. Good luck in the games.
Megara
You Are Megaran
Be proud that you are a Greek and come from such a respected city state as Megara. As a coastal city state, your history is a lot similar to Cornith's, your neighbor. You believe that your schools are as fine as those of Athens, although if you ask any Athenian, they will disagree. You have been trained in the arts and the sciences. As a child you were taught at home by your mother or a male slave.
Like most Megarans, you love money, and have been trained to be an excellent accountant. You also attended a higher school after the compulsary primary school (age 7-14yrs), and then went to military school. Your polis is famed for your textiles, which are the envy of Greece. You have, of course, your own coinage, an idea which you copied from Cornith.
Literature, Culture, Art and business's thrive in Megara, and you believe you give your citizens more freedom than Athens. (After the Peloponnesian war, Athens' great scientist Plato, moved to Megara where he remained for 10 years.)You founded the city of Byzantiam, also called Constantinpole, now called Istanbul, back in 630 BC. You are proud of your state's past and present achievements, and you are proud to be a Megaran.

If you cannot win, help Cornith and Argos defeat those boastful Athenians, and those rogues, the Spartans. If it comes down to Athens or Sparta, cheer loudly for Sparta, as they are good friends to have in times of war. Besides, you are tired of hearing about the 'wonderful' Athenians. You are a thriving coastal state and you are proud to be Megaran.
